Natural Tones Blends

The new Natural Tones Stampin' Blends are part of the recently introduced All Together Collection.  There are ten new colors - in shades perfect for coloring skin tones in our stamped images.  Also part of the collection is the Here Together Bundle and the All Together 6" Designer Series Paper.  I show everything in my video, but mainly, I focus on the Blends.  It's easy to see how you can use them to color people, but I focus on non-people images.  I also don't make a card in this video - I just show you how I've used these new colors to make eight different cards.

Let's start with the colors.  Below is the swatch I made showing all the colors starting with the darkest (100) up to the lightest (1000).  I love that they don't have names as I think that makes it easier to know they just fall into that range of numbers.  I've also swatched the existing Blends that could be used for skin tones as a comparison.  Cinnamon Cider is an in-color that will be retiring this spring when the new catalog comes out in May, so if you don't currently have it, you may miss out.

My first few cards focus on animals, the next logical choice for these colors.  I am thrilled with the results as there are so many more options for shading all of our cute critters!

As you can tell, I've ventured off into other things, like the Woody in the card above.  How cute is that little card on this masculine birthday card?  And did you notice the flowers with the birds?  They were done with the 1000 shade!  Looks like delicate cherry blossoms to me!  And the flowers below in all sepia tones look beautiful and give the card a vintage look.  One thing I learned when doing the shells is that you really need a deeper color for the outline stamp.  When I tried doing the large shell in Cinnamon Cider, it was just too light and I needed to stamp it in Early Espresso instead.

These new Blends have been very popular and some of them are in low inventory status, or even unavailable at this time.  I am hoping they will be fully stocked soon so you can get the entire collection of them at one time.  I've posted the links to all the parts of the collection below and even though I didn't feature much with the stamp set, dies or paper, I encourage you to check them out.  And don't forget about the great products you can get for FREE during Sale-a-bration only through February 28th!
